- In the beginning it was enthusiasm and interest in building the best kite that inspired a couple of guys in Sri Lanka to design and produce the first prototypes amongst friends and allies on the waves. Satisfaction led to demand and it soon became clear that the next step was inevitable. The new label Faith-Kiteboarding was launched. Faith-Kiteboarding has been established in December '06. Quality and excellence in design and performance straightened the path for the young kite brand to reach into the very competitive an ever-expanding kite market.
- Why the name Faith? - Because Faith is essential for sucessful living! In a spiritual and material sense. Therefore FAITH as a brand! Kiteboarding is probably the most spherical and spiritual extreme sport of our times. The Kiteboarder exposes him/herself in between the forces and energies of nature and heaven. In a unified state of mind and body, the individual experiences an exiting glimpse of fulfilment. Faith-Kiteboarding encourages people to reflect about the forces and spiritual energies behind nature and themselves.

- From a graphical point of view, the logo is a mirror combination of the letter F. With its strong outlines, it triggers the association to cutting blades on the bottom and the powerful horns of a bull on top. Power and determination frame the spiritual center of Being. Power through FAITH!
