Purpose and Action Plan
As our oceans as central part of the creation are getting more and more polluted by humankind we feel obliged to act. In respect to the this wonder of water being also the playground of us kitesurfers, we are commited to contribute towards the worldwide "Clean Ocean Effort" defined under goal 14 of the United Nations 17 goals program for worldwide sustainable development.
We decided as a company to sponsor 5$ per sold squaremeter of kite towards an environmental eduacation and awareness program - which we are establishing over the next few month.
As step 1 we are preparing an environmental awareness workshop which can be adopted to schools in third world and emerging countries.
We are preparing the workshop contents and will impement the content in a pilot project in Kappalady Sri Lanka in late 2017. As soon as it is running, we will put first feedbacks and results online, accompanied by picutres and videoclips.

Oceans contain nearly 200,000 identified species, but actual numbers may lie in the millions
Oceans absorb about 30 per cent of carbon dioxide produced by humans, buffering the impacts of global warming
As much as 40 per cent of the world oceans are heavily affected by human activities, including pollution, depleted fisheries, and loss of coastal habitats
Goals defined by UN
By 2025, prevent and significantly reduce marine pollution of all kinds, in particular from land-based activities, including marine debris and nutrient pollution
By 2020, sustainably manage and protect marine and coastal ecosystems to avoid significant adverse impacts, including by strengthening their resilience, and take action for their restoration in order to achieve healthy and productive oceans
